New Sound Debut at Crocus City Hall
The Crocus City Hall became the first Russian concert hall to install JM-1P, a horizontal line array.

“Additional sub-bass systems HP700 are built into the rigid stage portals, reinforced with brick masonry and new materials to better absorb sounds coming towards the stage. The horizontal line array is also mounted on these very portals. These loudspeakers are one of the best creations of John Meyer, the founder of the legendary Meyer Sound”, - said Denis Kovalenko, the Chief Sound Engineer of the Crocus City Hall.

Over 80 events are scheduled to take place at the Crocus City Hall this season, including concerts of Chris Rea, Andru Donalds, Era, Scorpions, Garbage, Nightwish, and others.

The Crocus City Hall is the only multi-level concert hall in Russia with a maximum capacity of 7500 people transformable to a small hall of 2200 spectators. Founded in memory of the great musician Muslim Magomaev, the Crocus City Hall concert venue (4500 sqm) opened its doors on October 25, 2009. It hosts concerts by Russian and foreign artists, dance and music shows, festivals, ceremonies, awards, conferences, congresses, business forums and corporate events.

It is the only multifunctional 6200-seat hall in Russia with a transformer stage of 712 sqm. The comfortable and convenient two-tier space consists of the stalls and amphitheater (2200 seats), the dress circle and balcony (4000 seats).

Above-ground and roof parking provides space for 6000 cars. Spectators coming to the Crocus City Hall by metro will get to the Hall’s lobby from the Myakinino Station without having to go outdoors.
