Opening of Crocus Fitness Luzhniki

The owner of Crocus Fitness, Emin Agalarov, the chain's Director Vlad Petrov and Luzhniki's Director General, Alexander Pronin, cut the ribbon and revealed the club's innovative space to the guests.

Crocus Fitness Luzhniki is an ultra-modern, innovative fitness club with a total floor area of 5,000 sq. m, located on the 5th floor of the Luzhniki Water Sports Palace, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding landmarks: Luzhniki Stadium, Sparrow Hills, Moscow State University and the Moscow-City business centre.

The gym occupying 1,500 sq. m has around 200 pieces of equipment from the world's leading manufacturers, Hammer Strength and Cybex: their equipment is developed based on scientific data obtained from comprehensive studies of human physiology and biomechanics.

The club boasts the world's first official TRX Training Centre outside the U.S. It has a dedicated studio with a specialised area for functional training with original suspension trainers, equipment and fitness accessories from TRX. The training centre will introduce the latest TRX MBody classes. Moreover, all visitors of the training centre will have access to a functional movement scan using the unique TRX Maps equipment which analyses your posture and movement in 30 seconds.

The crown jewel of Crocus Fitness Luzhniki is the multi-purpose game area where you can play football, volleyball, basketball, badminton and other team sports!

In addition to that, since Luzhniki is a sports park, the club will offer a variety of outdoor programmes. In summer, visitors will be able to use outdoor workout areas and participate in activities like Nordic walking, roller ski training, cycling, running, CrossFit, functional training and many more! In winter, functional training will be supplemented by cross-country skiing along the tracks of the Luzhniki Stadium; special containers throughout the park will be allocated for leaving your equipment.

The club also includes Spa and Recovery areas offering everything to do with relaxation and self-care: a Turkish Hammam, a salt room, massage rooms, manicure and pedicure services, stylists and even a barbershop.

Another feature is a 1,000 sq. m terrace; when the glass roof of the Water Complex is retracted, it leaves the terrace in the open air. Cosy lounge chairs, sofas and a yoga space for exercising during the sunrise make visiting this terrace an unforgettable experience.
