The long-awaited opening of the Sixty Four signature cuisine restaurant took place in the very centre of St. Petersburg on the last day of spring. The guests were offered to try exclusive menu items, including duck rillettes with cherry in port wine and brioche toasts; chopped dough pies with duck, pear and brined cheese; venison with turnip purée and black currant sauce; and crab cakes with mango and avocado tartare. The restaurant's bar served wild garlic, pea and cedar kvass cocktails, as well as homemade gin, vermouth and bourbon liqueurs with an insane palette of flavours. The evening ended with a DJ set by Lesha Mironov.
'Opening a restaurant in the country's cultural capital is a great responsibility. We tried to do our best to make it attractive and welcoming to all residents and guests of the city. My favourite dish on the menu are the duck rillette with cherry in port wine and the venison with turnip puree', says Emin Agalarov, developer, restaurateur, musician, co-founder of Sixty Four and the visionary behind the project:
The restaurant's opening was attended by celebrity guests from Moscow and St. Petersburg, including Victoria Odintsova, Glukoza, Anastasia Zadorina, Yevgenia Leshkova, Anastasia Gizerskaya, Karina Nigai, Marika Kravtsova, Sofia Turchak, Styopa Marsel, Vyacheslav Malafeyev, Gleb Ryzhkov and Emin Agalarov himself.
